We affectionately refer to my husband’s jiu jitsu teacher as “Uncle Scott”. This recipe is his wife Danelle’s.
Because it is so easy to double, this is my go to for Meal Trains when friends are sick or having a baby. Cook once and you have one to give away and one for the family dinner that night at your house.
When it comes to time management, we have to be stingy with our yes(es) and generous with our no(s).
So few ingredients, so quick & so easy. Grab 2x the ingredients and bring one to your nearest fire or police station, a teacher, a single friend, a single Mom, a new Mom, a pastor, an elderly neighbor or even a new neighbor.
A Special Note about the FAMILY recipes I share via Rhythm & Rubbish:
Though I am very much a lover of food, I am by no means a “food blogger”. The recipes I share should be read in the context as if I handed you the well-loved, stained with ingredients copy of the recipe I have gone off of for many years. I do not know the exact amount of servings, calories, nutritional values, all substitution possibilities, etc. However, I would definitely be up for answering any questions I can to help, but just puttin’ it out there that I share these in a laid back friend to friend manner with the hopes you will enjoy them as much as our family has.
